A Layman's Guide to Setting Up a Facebook Business Page, Ad Account, and Business Manager

If you are new to the world of social media marketing management, fear not- this comprehensive guide will walk you through the process step-by-step.
What You Need
A personal Facebook account. This is the Facebook account that you use in daily life for social networking. (If you do not have any existing personal Facebook account, sign up for one. Learn more about how to sign up for a personal Facebook account.)
What You Would Set Up Following this Guide
A business manager
A Facebook business page
An ad account
Setting up assets to manage and run ads
Access to ads manager
STEP 1: CREATING A FACEBOOK BUSINESS PAGE
Go to Business Manager at business.facebook.com. You will be prompted to log into your personal Facebook profile. After you logged into your account, click "Create Account". Follow the prompts to set up your Business Manager account.

Login with your personal Facebook account, click "Create an account"

Follow the "prompt", insert the required information accurately.

2. Create Your Business Page. From Business Manager,
navigate to "Business Settings"
under the "Accounts" tab, select "Pages" and click on "Add".
choose "Create a New Page" and follow the prompts, similar to the previous guide.
STEP 2: SETTING UP YOUR FACEBOOK AD ACCOUNT
Go back to your Business Manager account.
Navigate or click "Ad Account", it can be found under the "Accounts" tab. Click on "Add" and follow the prompts to create a new ad account.


Set your time zone, currency, and account name. Enter the required information accurately as it affects billing information.

Add Payment Method. Enter your payment details within the ad account settings. If you are opting for manual payment, please set it up at this point as it is not reversible passed this point. Card payment is strongly encouraged for consistent payment cycle and also to unlocking more advanced features.
STEP 3: USING FACEBOOK BUSINESS MANAGER
Add Assets. Within Business Manager, you can manage multiple ad accounts, pages and other assets associated with your business. Click "Add" to link existing assets or create new ones.
Assign Roles. Business Manager allows you to assign specific roles to team members for better collaboration and control. You can grant access to assets like pages, ad accounts, and more. Learn more about the different roles.
